Election Day is finally here! It is so important that you take a few minutes to vote today. Please vote for Senator Debbie Stabenow, to keep fighting for our Michigan Way of Life.

Polls are open from 7am to 8pm. If you are in line by 8pm, you will be allowed to vote. You are not required to bring your voter registration card, but it is a good idea to bring it anyways - in case there are any questions about your registration. If you are not sure whether you are registered to vote, or where you vote, please do a lookup at www.michigan.gov/vote. The Michigan Democratic Party has set up a toll-free telephone help line (888) DEM-VOTE (888-336-8683) that you can call if you have any questions about your voting rights or if you want to find your polling location.

We knew it was coming. Mike Bouchard and the National Republicans have dumped another million dollars into Michigan in the closing days of the election to try and smear Senator Stabenow's record.

Thanks to your overwhelming support, we have been able to fend off these vicious attacks so far. But we need to ask you to dig deep once more so that we can fight back in the final days. We knew that the more desperate Mike Bouchard and the National Republicans became, the more false and misleading his ads would get. And that's exactly what has happened.

Bush Arrives Today!

Today, President Bush is coming to Michigan to raise campaign cash for Mike Bouchard.

We warned you of this impending visit earlier this week and asked you to help us "Turn Bush Blue" by raising an additional $15,000 goal to counter what Bush will help Bouchard raise. The response has been overwhelming. As of this morning we have raised $6,543 of our special "Turn Bush Blue" goal. But we can't stop until we reach or better yet - surpass our goal.

We have no doubt the President's visit will help fill up Bouchard's coffers for more personal attack ads on television. We need your continued support to send a message to the President that Michigan intends to keep Senator Debbie Stabenow! Bush can continue to visit Michigan for fundraising stunts while ignoring the plight of our Auto Industry and Manufacturers all he wants. It won't change the fact that Senator Stabenow will continue to fight him and his disasterous policies every step of the way.

Election Day

Election Day is almost here. There are four things you can do today to help out:

Take Election Day off. Re-arrange your schedule to have Election Day (Tuesday November 7th) free all day.

Sign up as an Election Day volunteer. Volunteers are needed for door-knocking, phone calls, poll watching, giving rides and more.

Vote absentee today. That way you'll be free to travel to wherever you are most needed. Also, if you're 60 years old or older, unable to vote without assistance at the polls, expecting to be out of town on Election Day, unable to attend the polls due to religious reasons, or appointed to work as an election inspector in a precinct outside of your precinct of residence, you can vote absentee as well. Get the appropriate form by contacting your city or township clerk, or download a general form from the Secretary of State here. You must contact your clerk for a ballot no later than 2pm the Saturday before the election. After receiving your ballot, you have until 8pm on Election Day to return it to the clerk's office. Donate to our campaign. President Bush is making a second visit to Michigan to support Mike Bouchard. This is a clear sign that the Republicans will do whatever it takes to win this Senate seat. Senator Stabenow has a proven track record of helping American workers and American businesses. She wrote and passed a tax cut for businesses that keep their jobs here, rather than outsourcing them. She's fought the Bush economic policies that neglect our domestic manufacturers and actually encourage outsourcing; and now she's working to stop Mike Bouchard from becoming another vote for those policies in the Senate.

That's why she started a petition today to Say NO to Outsourcing! And say NO to the Bush economic policies that have cost Michigan jobs.
