On Tuesday May 16th the Stabenow for U.S. Senate campaign filed our petition signatures for Senator Stabenow's first re-election campaign. Thanks to all of the volunteers who helped with this effort. We couldn't have done it without you!

Now the campaign is official. Now we need to build the momentum we'll need to get out the vote in November. Now we need to convince our friends, our family, our coworkers and neighbors, how important it is to send Debbie Stabenow back to the U.S. Senate for another six years!

We'll need your help over the next six months to tell others about all the great work Senator Stabenow has accomplished in just her first term.

• She's leading the fight to bring down prescription drug costs and pass a REAL Medicare prescription drug benefit.
  
• She got manufacturers $2 billion in immediate tax relief to create jobs in the U.S., rather than overseas.
  
• She mobilized hundreds of thousands of Michigan citizens to stop the Canadian Trash coming across our borders, passing an amendment that has already turned away hazardous waste and illegal drugs.
  
• She authored and passed the first ever ban on oil and gas drilling in our Great Lakes.
